Rehoming with Chancepixies

Since 2004 we have rehomed over 1,000 and reunited over 800 dogs which we are extremely proud of.

However, despite our efforts and the efforts of hundreds of other rescue organisations across the country, to offer rescue and rehoming for these dogs, demand for re-homing and the ‘stray’ dog levels have continued to grow. We have now re-focussed our attention on what we believe to be the root cause, and aim to prevent the need for rescue -  find out more about our mission here

We do currently have dogs that are long stayers at Chancepixies as they have special needs.  They have a good quality of life with us, but we believe there's a forever home out there for one of them. Our dogs require experienced committed owners - if you think you can help, please get in touch and complete our rehoming application form

Bono

1/4
  • Staffie

  • 6 years old

  • Male

Story

Bono came from a kill policy pound near Newcastle. He has been out on foster trial twice, but returned each time, not particularly his fault just too much for some people to take on. Bono has been with us for quite a while now, still waiting for his forever home.  He loves sofas, cushions and anything soft to roll around on (probably a little too much so he will probably need a crate).  He needs an experienced adult only home as an only dog, he is strong on the lead and strong willed.

Characteristics

Exuberant, energetic, full of life, a fun loving happy chappie

Needs

Adult only home, experienced owner, no other dogs, no children

Fig & Flower

  • West Highland Terriers

  • 4.5 years old

  • Male & Female (siblings)

Story

These two have recently been given up by their owner who, due to relocation, was unable to care for them and give them what they need.

They are neutered, in rude health and we would love to see them homed together, although we are aware that it may be necessary to home them separately.  This pair can be quite noisy, but have already improved with some basic training which needs to be continued.

Characteristics

Friendly, confident, fearless and cheeky

Needs

They would be best in a rural setting, preferably with an adult only house hold, although older children would be considered
