Training & Behaviour

Part of our campaign to change the way dogs are treated in the UK is to educate on responsible ownership.
As part of this we offer training options at the Chancepixies site to cover all aspects of the canine world, from pet to top level competition dog, with a percentage of all course fees being donated to the Charity.

One to One Problem Behaviour with David - £50 (per hour)
Behaviour Boarding - £60
(per night, includes behaviour training and boarding)
Behaviour Assessments (approx 1 ½ hours) - £170
(includes training, written behaviour assessment and recommended training options)

Every dog is an individual and we believe they should be treated as such, therefore we offer one to one training where the training can be tailored to suit you and your dogs personal requirements – whatever you are trying to achieve, whether it be a top level show or working dog or purely to have a happy, well balanced pet to be proud of.

 

The first step to understanding a training or behaviour issue is a dog behaviour & psychology assessment. These are available at Chancepixies with David Anderson and qualified animal behaviourist Pippa Ducat. These assessments are carried out at Chancepixies with both trainers, working with you and your dog to get to the source of any issues you may have, achieving the right solution for your requirements, guiding you through how to most effectively communicate with your dog.

To effectively assess your dog it is useful for other members of the family involved (including other pets) to be present at the assessment, any video footage that you may have of, and if you can bring your usual training equipment with you this will also help us to build up an accurate picture.

Following the assessment, you will receive a written report detailing the issues discussed and our recommendations for any further training.

Further training and support may be recommended depending on the initial assessment and your own requirements, and can be carried out either by Pippa or with David in your home environment or in our controlled, safe environment, the choice is up to you.
