DOGS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR NEW HOMES
BERTIE

Bertie and Pat, what a fantastic start to the year for Bertie!
| Breed | Staffordshire Bull Terrier |
| Colour | Dark brindle |
| Age (approx) | 2 years |
| Description | UPDATE! - Bertie was officially adopted by foster mum Pat on Tuesday 8th March 2011. Many, many thanks to Pat for persevering and giving this special little lad the chance he needed. UPDATE! - Bertie went into a foster home on Christmas Eve, possibly the best Christmas present ever!? Thank you Pat for giving this bundle of fun the chance he needed. Bertie came to us after being rejected by another dog charity and was originally found as a stray and his 7 days of safety were up. Bertie is friendly, outgoing and a typical energetic bundle of 'bully' energy! A true Staffie, he is small/medium build and although he knows a few basic commands, he would get immense benefit from continued training. He is obsessive with toys and in his previous home has learnt some negative ways of gaining attention, however if training is continued this young boy will soon respond to postitive, consistent training. We will be looking for an active, adult home for this little boy, preferably as an only dog and with people with experience of the Bull Terrier as many of his behaviours are typical of their character. Have you got room in your heart and home for Bertie? Bertie has now been neutered, health checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped, wormed and treated against fleas. |
