| Description | Frodo started his wonderful new life with his new family Anne and Mike Worthington and two other little four-legged playmates on Saturday 19th June 2010 (photos above). A phone call the following day was gratefully recieved to let us know that Frodo had settled right in and was getting on famously with his new family. Many thanks to Mike and Anne for offering this brilliant little man the chance of happiness that he deserved! Frodo was taken in having been found as a stray, as such we had no background or history on him, however in his short stay with us he has shown himself to be an affectionate little man who loves attention. When Frodo came to us his coat was terribly matted and so over the following weeks, hours were spent bathing and massaging oil into his coat to try and ease out the knots and matts rather than clip him (see pictures below), 3 weeks later we were somewhere close! On 7th April 2010, we travelled with Frodo and Joy to the Toto auditions in the Kennel Club building in Warwickshire for the West End production of the Wizard of Oz. Unfortunately, neither of these wonderful dogs were what they were looking for, but both behaved perfectly and would have been brilliant ambassadors for rescue dogs in the UK! The fun photos below were taken after we were kindly donated a tunnel by Cristine Nichols, as you can see Frodo had great fun, and looks very handsome in the spring sun! Frodo seems to be fine around other dogs, happy to interact, to amuse himself or do tricks for us for a treat! A really well adjusted little man who is looking for a special home. Frodo has been health checked, vaccinated, microchipped and treated against fleas. |

and Charm!

Before Frodos 12+ hour grooming session!

During - Frodo during one of his many baths, note the matting on his back legs, this poor little boy must have been so uncomfortable, his whole little body was covered in matts!

'After' - Frodo enjoying some sun, fun and exercise!
