UPDATE! - Floyd has been offically adopted by his foster family, thank you Molly and Andrew for giving this beautiful boy the chance he needed!

Floyd is now in a Foster Home with Andrew and Molly so we will keep his page updated as to how he adapts to life back in a home. Thank you to Andrew and Molly for giving Floyd a chance of life out of the kennels.

Floydd is looking for a new home through no fault of his own. Another victim of the credit crunch meant that Floydd was left alone for increasing amounts of time. Rather that let him continue to suffer the decision was made to find him a new home, but rescue spaces are hard to find and they did not want to risk him getting into the wrong hands and being put to sleep was an option being considered and so before we took him in his future was looking bleak.

Floydd is a stunning, wonderful dog who has come from a family environment and thrives on attention and interation. His new home will need to offer him plenty of physical and mental stimulation to get the best out of this boy. Hike - anyone?!

Floyd will make an excellent companion for an active home, could you find it in your hearts and home to offer Floyd the love and attention he deserves?

As you can see from a couple of the photos, Floyd, Star and Hope had a good run together and Floyd was still happy to come back despite having two friends to play with. Floyd does have basic training, and is eager to please and be with people but can be strong on the lead so will need continued training with his new owners to help overcome this.

Floyd is not finding kennel life easy but did have Star and Hope for company at different times which helped stop his pacing. He is great when out with other dogs, but would prefer to live with a female or as an only dog.

Floyd is vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and been treated against fleas.
