| Description |
Star had only been in her Foster Family for a matter of days when Caron had already found her a potential new forever home! Star went to her new home on 29th June to live with Sarah and Kevin and has settled brilliantly, saying "Whoever dumped her doesn’t know what they are missing, but then we wouldn’t part with her for all the tea in China!" Thank you Sarah and Kevin for offering Star a wonderful home and to Caron and John for making it possible! Star's Story . . .
Star came to us after her 7 days had passed having being handed in as a stray, as such we have no history or background on her. She is a very friendly, lively girl who we will have lots of fun getting to know and will keep this page up to date as her assessment continues to help find her the loving, permanent home she deserves. Everything is at 100 miles an hour with Star! She is very quick and eager to please, loving to be with people and have one to one interaction. We took Star out with Floyd and Hope to see if we could help build Hopes confidence, all three dogs got on really well and Star was still as happy to be with us even with the other dogs around, she will make a wonderful companion for someone with the time to spend with her getting to know her and getting her to slow down enough to understand what you want from her! She will be best suited to a home where she will get one on one attention as she will become very attached very quickly and will become a constant companion. Star has been great with all other dogs that we have taken her out with, being always more interested in being with us. Star would make a fantastic companion for an adult home where she can get the time and attention she needs, as she will need training to help her settle. Star has been health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated against fleas. Star has been very kindly offered a Foster home by Caron and John on 22nd June 2010, we will keep her page updated with her progress as Caron and John discover her character within the home environment. Thank you John and Caron for giving Star a step up towards a loving, permanent new home! Update! Star settled well on her first day with all four dogs and the three cats and is responding well to being in a home even at this very early stage. Updated Sunday 3rd July 2010 |
