| Description | Hope was re-homed on 2nd July, with a big thanks to Martin and Liz for giving Hope the chance to be in a loving, permanent home and for keeping us updated on her progress. As expected, Hope has found the change pretty stressful, but they are all gradually getting to know each other and although it will take some time, they will get there as a team! Thanks again Liz and Martin! Hopes Story so far. . . Hope came to us after her 7 days were up having being found as a stray, therefore we have no history or background on her. Hope has obviously had a hard time in her short life so far. She is very timid, choosing to spend the majority of her time curled up in bed her trying not to be seen. With time, we are sure that Hope will start to trust humans and come out of her shell and her true character will shine through! We will keep this page updated on her progress. Hope is still finding things rather overwhelming, she is now 'happy' to take food from my hand but will still run away from any movement, this poor girl has been through so much in her short life that she is going to have to re-learn how enjoyable walks and grooming can be. Perhaps we went a bit over the top on the photos of Hope having fun with the other dogs, but is was just so nice to see her having fun! 10th May 2010 - Hope has the chance of a new home! Hope has been offered a wonderful home with Liz and Maryin who are willing to give Hope the time and understanding she needs, they also have two well established, outgoing and friendly Spaniels who will hopefully give her the confidence to continue on the journey to trusting humans. As her new family are in the middle of moving, Hope will be staying with us until they are settled, until then they are all making the 3.5 hour round trip to see her every week, thank you Liz and Martin for giving Hope the chance a brilliant new home! |

Hope - now renamed Bracken - spending time at Chancepixies with new owner Liz and their Spaniels, having spend the 3.5 hours travelling in the heat to see her! Bracken will be going to her new home in early July when everything is settled after their move and her new adventure can begin!

Hope enjoying some canine company in the spring sun!
