Having been abandoned by their previous owners and society, we are all these dogs have. If like us you believe dogs deserve better, then please help us to help them. Together we can make a difference!

Chancepixies needs a home! The facilities that the charity has enjoyed use of, have been kindly offered free of charge throughout our time here, allowing us free access to the kennel space, land and training facilities (view). However, due to a change in circumstances, these facilities will soon need to be paid for. Chancepixies has been offered the exclusive purchase of the 2 acre plot that includes the kennel blocks, car park, front reception building, exercise paddock and barn for £195,000 (subject to valuation), this is a fantastic opportunity and if you are able to help us with this figure, please contact us or use the donate details below. Whilst this figure is being raised it would allow us more time if the property could be rented, to help with these running costs please do consider becoming a regular giver.
Each year we care, and find forever homes for many dogs who would otherwise have been killed, through no fault of their own (Video of 9 dogs arriving here and some of our happy endings here). To do this responsibly, on each new arrival we health check, vaccinate, micro-chip, worm, de-flea and neuter. For an average stay of 6 weeks for an average dog it costs the charity about £10 per day, this is assuming that the dog is otherwise fit and healthy. In addition to this, and to ensure the best welfare of the dog there are extra heating bills, especially at the extreme temperatures that we have seen this past winter, and part-time staff to help ensure that each dogs needs are met on a daily basis. At full capacity (30 dogs at any one time) the running costs obviousy are quite high and need to be met. We are campaigning to prevent the appalling level of disregard, neglect and abandonment in the UK towards dogs. We have written to the Welsh Assemblies in opposition to their move to regulate Puppy Farms (see document). We believe you cannot regulate something that shouldn't exist! In line with this we also have our online petition running, to call for a change in legislation to control dog breeding in the UK to ensure that those that choose to breed take responsibility for that choice. All three of these campaigns need money to succeed. Any amount, however large or small, will all help towards the end of dogs suffering in the UK.
