Woody is a 4 week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who found herself orphaned
at just 2 and a half weeks of age
Woody is currently living with her littermate Jessie, and is doing very
well! She is the more cuddly of the two, and loves to be snuggled!
She is also living with a young child who is very involved with her day
to day care, so she is very used to young children. She will also be young
enough to be introduced to cats in her new home.
Woody will need to be neutered when she is old enough, and we will require
vet evidence to show this has been done. We also require the new home to
enroll Woody in training / puppy, to ensure she is well socialised.
Woody will begin her vaccinations before leaving for her new home, and will
be microchipped, wormed and deflead.
Woody will not be ready to leave for her new home until the middle of June.

Pickle is approximately 3 years old and has been neutered, vaccinated,
wormed, deflead and microchipped.
She is a patterdale cross who's previous owner moved and could not take
her with them.
She is great in the house, and good with other dogs. In true terrier style,
she will tell dogs off if they are over the top!
She is good in the car, adores people and is currently living with a young
child. She is a very pretty girl who loves a fuss and is a very loving dog.
she is crate trained and good in the house.
Pickle could live with a male dog but not with cats. Small animals such
as rabbits would be need to be seperated securely!
We are looking for a home for Pickle with children aged 8 plus, who have
experience with terriers or young dogs.
Pickle will be a fantastic addition to the right family.

Blackberry is an 18 month old Akita who was brought for breeding purposes,
that the owner could then not afford to keep. He has now been neutered,
vaccinated, wormed, deflead and microchipped.
Blackberry is a little wary of new people but once he knows you, he adores
you!
He is strong on the lead, and requires some more lead training. He has met
children, and has been brilliant with them, but as he has not lived with
them, we would like a home with children aged 10 plus for him.
Blackberry is gorgeous, inside and out! He is good with other dogs and would
happily live with a female dog, or alone.
Blackberry is a young dog who will need set boundaries, so an experienced
home would be best.

Please meet gorgeous Petal.
Petal is a year old jack russell cross chihuahua who has been neutered,
started her vaccinations, been wormed, deflead and microchipped.
Petal is the most loyal dog you could wish for, she will absolutely adore
you and you will be the love of her life. she is good with other dogs outside
of the house, but can be territorial with bitches in the home, so she will
only be homed as an only dog or with a male.
Petal is absolutely amazing with children, and idolises my 3 year old daughter.
She loves nothing more than being out in the car, and will lay down on the
seat and go to sleep in seconds! she would love to be a van drivers mate
and go to work with someone!
She is brilliant in the house, but wouldn't be ideal to be left for too
long each day as she just loves company and being out and about.
She is fantastic off lead and in her eyes, life is all about pleasing her
family. i love this little lady so much and if circumstances were different,
she wouldn't be going anywhere!
Petal would be fine to live with cats.
Petal is a young, lively girl who will need stimulation, and preferably
a home with terrier experience.

Sushi is a 5 month old sharpei x cross who came into rescue after a relationship
breakdown. Sushi is a playful pup who will need continuing training and
socialisation. She is good with other dogs and loves people. She is eager
to please and a real sweetheart. Sushi is crate trained, and would prefer
to live with another / other dogs. She is a bouncy pup so best homed with
children aged 10 plus.
Sushi has good recall off lead and travels well. She is vaccinated, wormed,
deflead and microchipped. She will need to be spayed aged 6 - 7 months by
her new family. This will form part of the adoption agreement, and we will
need vet confirmation that this as been done.

Gorgeous Gorgeous Zac is a 6 - 7 year old Rottweiler who is needing a lovely
retirement home. Zac is good with EVERYTHING! People, dogs an cats!! He
was brought in as a stray and is neutered, wormed, microchipped and deflead.
He is currently in foster in essex, heres what his foster mummy says about
him...
Zac has been the best behaved foster dog I have ever had, he gets along
great with with everyone he meets and the other 3 dogs, cat and rabbit in
my house. He likes to chill out in his favourite bed most of the time, is
good on the lead and loves to play with a tennis ball. He is such a soft
sweet dog who wouldn't hurt a fly and will make someone a perfect companion!
He sits and gives you his paw, loves a fuss and is clean in the house.
Zac really is the perfect dog, no vices, no problems and just an easy going
dog who will reward you tenfold if you give him the chance. Low energy and
low maintenance. Love this boy soooo much, can you offer lovely Zac a place

can be a little shy at first but then bonds quickly.

MICA
Mica is a medium sized, long-haired lovely. Photos attached. Approx. 18-mths
old.
She is a bit timid initially at first meeting but once she knows you she
really gains confidence and is a very happy and friendly dog. She seems
fine with cats but this has not been heavily tested. Mica is very dog friendly,
playful and will love lots of walks! She will need some lead/recall training
but is very responsive so should learn quickly.
Mica is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and defleaded.
SUZI
Suzi is also medium sized, fluffy and long-haired. Photos attached. Approx.
18-mths old.
She is also a shy initially at first but comes round quickly and is a really
happy and friendly dog. Again she seems fine with cats whilst on a lead
but this has not been heavily tested. Suzi is very dog friendly too. She
appears fine on the lead but may need some recall training.

Louise is a beautiful, loving Jack Russell cross who came into rescue after
her owner had to move into rented accomodation and could not take Louise
with her.
Louise is great with other dogs and people and would be ideal for a quiet
home, or an elderly person. She loves to be cuddled and is very low maintenance.
Louise is a little wary around children, so an adult home would be best
for her.
She will be spayed before leaving for her new home, and is vaccinated, microchipped,
deflead and wormed.

Lady is the most charming Rottweiler who is approximately 6 years old.
Lady came into rescue after her family moved and could not take her with
them. She spent some time in a sanctuary and now thanks to her wonderful
foster family, she has now been assessed in a home, and is currently living
with their female Rottweiler.
Lady has lived with children, we would ask that children be aged 8 plus.
She is not suitable to live with cats, but could live with other dogs, alone
or with farm animals.
She has been spayed, micro chipped, wormed and deflead.
Nicknamed 'Lady Rottingham' because of her aristocratic demeanour, heres
what her foster mum has to say about her -
"She's adorable, she's confident and very intelligent and quickly
worked out how to open the kitchen door! She'll do anything for a cuddle
and once she likes you, gives you the 'Rottie lean' until she's almost falling
over :) She's got a boxer like sense of fun and jumps and claps her hands
when we go outside to play. She's housetrained and clean and calm inside
the house. She's quite nosy and her favourite spot indoors is by the window
where she can watch the world, and the birds go by.
She's not a barker but she'll give a bark to warn you if people (or foxes!)
are about. She's low-medium energy and loves going for a relatively gentle
stroll and then having a snooze indoors.
She has some basic training and walks well on the lead. Being intelligent
she's quick to pick up on what is being asked of her - especially if there
is a reward in the form of a treat at the end of it! Off the lead her recall
isn't great as her independent nature means she likes to go off and explore,
but she doesn't wander far. She's not that interested in ball games or frisbee
but likes to chew on a toy.
She's fine with other dogs and other than a little bark at the horses and
ducks has ignored them. Loves people as they are potential sources of cuddles
and treats! She's had a little whine when we put her to bed or popped out
but very quickly settled down. Doesn't chew or destroy anything, and seems
fine with household noises such as the washing machine and tumble dryer.
Travels really well and given half a chance would love to stick her head
out of the car window! (In this respect she's been helping Roxy who isn't
too keen on the car.)
Overall she'd be great for someone who would love a large breed but wants
a gentle, calm and cuddly companion rather than a boisterous bundle"

Given Lady is a more mature girlie, we are happy to accept a donation of

Gentle natured 3-4 year old crossbreed.
Medium sized, white with ginger patches, he has a soft medium length coat.
Blonde eyelashes and half a waggy tail. Very quiet and independent, he likes
to plod along without causing any disturbance to anyone. He enjoys standing
to one side to watch things including high jinx but is not really keen to
join in unless if involves cuddles, pats and strokes. He enjoys being round
children as long as he can leave the game as soon as he wants. He can tolerate
cats within the house but when he thinks we are not looking he treats the
cats outdoors as fair game and proves he can move as fast as a greyhound.
With his independence he will occasionally go and spend a few hours sleeping
on the compost heap. He is clean in the house and loves being close to other
dogs. He loves his food and treats and is willing to share it with others.
He is shy and quiet and a truly lovely boy. Suited to a calmer house but
can tolerate energy and noise, he will become a devoted and entertaining
part of the family.
He has been castrated, defleaed, vacc'd and microchipped.
Currently being fostered in Devon

is a small bundle full of fun! Whilst he can be a little unsure of new people,
he bonds quickly and is soon enjoying cuddles and fuss!!
Valentine absolutely adores other dogs, and he would love to find a home
with at least one other resident dog for him to play with and snuggle up
to. He has not been cat or child tested.
Valentine is getting used to walking on a lead, and regular walks will ensure
that he is completely lead confident in no time.

Looking for a well behaved, calm, loving, child friendly, dog friendly
staffy, who is well trained, great recall and IS NOT giddy?
Look no further - Heres Holly!!! She is approx 18 months - 2 years old.
Holly is fantastic. A lovely calm, good natured girl, who adores people
and children, and is low energy, and low maintenance. Holly would slip into
any family home without problem. She is housetrained, not destructive, travels
well in the car and is not bouncy or mad! She loves her home comforts and
her sleep! She is fantastic off lead and on, and is responsive to commands.
I really cannot say enough good things about Holly. Since the day she stepped
through my front door 2 weeks ago, she has not been one ounce of trouble,
and settled in with my family immediately. She is best friends with my 2
year old daughter, and waits at the bottom of the stairs, tail wagging when
she hears her wake up in the morning.
One dog that had Imore room at home, would not be leaving!
A happy, confident yet calm girl who is going to bring years of love and
companionship with her to her new home, as well as provide a head on lap
for anytime you are feeling sad!!!
Holly has started her vaccinations, been spayed, wormed, microchipped, deflead.
Holly is one in a million, and her new family will be very lucky indeed!
Doly is about 18 months old, she has been spayed, vaccinated, deflead and
chipped. She is currently being fostered in the Somerset area.
Doly is a very happy little girl, small-medium in size and long-haired.
She is a bit timid but when she realises you are friendly, her tail wags
constantly. She will need some lead training and isn't keen on wearing a
collar but she is such a responsive little girl, she will surely learn very
quickly. She is very playful and travels extremely well in the car.
She is not cat tested and any children in a home should be 12+ years. Doly
would also prefer to be rehomed to a home where she will be an only dog.

Apollo is a very playful energetic young dog in a powerful body, he has been very social and tolerant with my 2 female dogs but not so good with male dogs. This may be due to being in a home with 2 female dogs or just his general stress at this time. He has a mass of energy and loves to run up and down the garden jumping and leaping as he goes (this is beautiful to see). He is very strong and a bit clumsy but just wants to run, play and explore.
He needs some extra training on the lead but to be honest we probably needed more training than he does because he has been very responsive to close right hand walking, we have been stopping when he pulls. We have found no response to calling his name but "come on boy" and finger clicking have been working with a small treat. He will sit with a gentle push on his bottom and a treat. He has responded to all that has been asked of him, he will try everything to see if he is allowed to chew it but a sharp no always stops him. He has an extra long lead for him to explore in the woods but he wants to be free and will try to escape the lead by jumping and leaping...... in all these things he has responded well to commands. We feel he is looking for a strong pack leader, strong in strength to help him learn and strong in leadership to be devoted too.
We have cats that are not always around but we carry them through the house and they have been passed over Apollo's head without him showing much interest. But he has chased them in the garden when the other dogs have, so i cant say that he is cat tolerant.
He has been around children and the only danger he is is obviosly his size, his no sense of direction and wanting to be 1st in the queue for playing.
Ian has taught him to wait for his food and he is begining to stand back while i give the other dogs a treat.
He needs someone totally devoted to him not because he is bad but because he is so very very good and beautiful, he has no major problems that we can see that training and love wont sort out.
He is very affectionate, loves cuddles and loves being involved in all
that is going on. and he snores x x x
Lena is an approximately 7 month old German Shepherd cross who came into
rescue after her owners had to move to a flat without a garden.
Lena is a fun, bouncy girl who hasnt had much formal training, but is so
eager to please! She is very puppy like, and is really a 'blank canvas'
for someone to work with and bring her on. She is intelligent and loyal,
and loves everyone and everything!
Due to her enthusiam, she would be best in a home with children aged 12
plus. She would be fine to live with other dogs, but has not been cat tested.
She loves toys and playing with other dogs, and is always ready for a good
game!

Lovely lovely Lily has been over looked at the sanctuary for too long,
and finally her pleading eyes just became too much, and i took Lily home
for foster to assess her in a home, and to give her the warm, loving home
she has been hoping for since before Christmas.
Lily has been 110% perfect in the house, no accidents, no chewing, and so
calm, quiet and gentle - you barely know shes here!!!
Shes also tiny - just under 15 inches tall!!!
She has the run of downstairs in the house, and has been absolutely perfect.
She would be fine to live with a male dog, or as only dog. Shes not a bouncy
girl at all and loves her bed, no chance of her being lonely without the
company of another dog, she would just be happy to have all the cuddles!!!
She has good recall off lead, and walks very, very well on the lead.
Shes been amazing with my 2 year old daugher. Shes soooo gentle, never bouncy
or knocking her over..just putting her head on her lap, waiting for a shower
of kisses, acknowledged with a little wag of the tail.
Had i more room for another dog, i would have no hesistation whatsoever
in keeping this beautiful girl.. but she deserves a forever home of her
own.

HOME NEEDED FOR 15 YEAR OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD CROSS
This poor dog is facing euthanasia after his owner has been made homeless,
and cannot keep him. He is not neutered, and is now really too old to be
done. He just needs a warm home, with a duvet, to spend his last days. He
is calm, and well mannered.
His old owner says = 'He is a clever, well trained dog. I am absolutely
devasated.He is wobbly on back end, but happy and waggy. Eats well, good
with other dogs, too old to worry about cats'
This dog literally has DAYS to live.
We can assist with any vet bills, he just needs a warm home, and some love.

Please meet the lovely Belle!
She is aged between two and three years old, and is a husky cross alaskan
malamute. Belle is a fantastic, loving girl, who is clean in the house and
loves to please. She is submissive with people, and is used to living with
other dogs. She has not been cat tested, but we may be able to arrange this.
Due to her breed, her owners will need to commit to keeping her on lead
unless in a secure area. Belle would be fine to live with a male dog or
alone, but if she is to live without the company of another dog, she would
need a home where there is someone at home for most of the day.

Fire is approximately a year old retriever cross. She is a beautiful girl
who has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, deflead and wormed.
Firefly is used to living with lots of other dogs and is very dominant with
them. With training this is easily managed, but she will need an experienced
home, for this reason.
She is a young playful girl who loves people and wants to please. She will
be a pleasure to train and bring on.
Firefly was found as a stray, and our policy therefore dictates that she
will need a home with children aged 10 plus.
Fire would love a home with experienced medium to large dog owners who are
at home for a good percentage of the day, that are dedicated to her training,
as well as offering love, lots of exercise and mental stimulation.

Please meet lovely Pancake!!!
Pancake, an Akita, is approximately 8 years old and is neutered, microchipped,
deflead and wormed. Pancake was found as a stray and ended up in a dog pound
in Yorkshire. Since Pancake has been with us, he has been living with around
40 other dogs, and is happy to potter around, keeping out of trouble!!!
Pancake has met the cats at the sanctuary, and was unreactive. He is a lovely
older gentleman, who enjoys his own space, and would like a nice warm home
to spend the rest of his days in. As we have no history for Pancake, we
are looking for a home with children aged 14 and over.
Pancake would happily live with an older, calm female, or as an only dog.
He travels well in the car, and would be an ideal companion for a more mature
family, or a quiet household.
Pancake has love to give, he just needs someone to give it to... Could you
be that person?
Nero the doberman is approximately two years old, and is a loving bundle
of fun!!! Nero loves people, other dogs and to play!!! He is affectionate
and loyal and is in rescue through no fault of his own.
Nero is a big bouncy lad, so for that reason we feel a home with children
aged 6 and over would be best for him, as he may knock little ones over,
not meaning to.
Nero is clean in the house, and is responsive to commands. He has not been
destructive, and is used to living with cats. He is such a loving character,
and will be an absolutely amazing addition to any family.
Nero is so eager to please, and is so much fun to be with.
We know that anyone who meets Nero will love him as much as we do, please
give him a chance...

Please meet Noel (on left)
Noel is approximately 12 weeks old and is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross.
He came into rescue after being abandoned with his littermates.
Noel has started his vaccinations and is used to living with other dogs
and cats. He will need to be neutered at 6 months of age, and this will
form part of his adoption agreement. He has been microchipped, wormed and
deflead.
His new home must commit to taking Noel to training classes and keeping
him well socialised once he has completed his vaccination course.
Please note we will not be allowing Noel to go to her new home until after
Christmas.

Tanner is a lovely Border terrier cross, and is approximately 2 years old.
He is castrated, wormed, de flead, microchipped and has started his vaccinations.
He is a clever boy who adores people and is used to living with children.
He is well socialised with other dogs and does enjoy company of other dogs
out on walks, but he tends to like his own space away from resident dogs
in the house, so we feel a home without other dogs would be ideal for him.
He is a typical fun loving terrier, and enjoys playing fetch and having
belly rubs!
He has been totally clean in the house, and is happy to be groomed and handled.
He will be the perfect addition for a family or an older person / couple
who is committed to regular exercise and play.
He would be fine to live with children aged 6+

Gorgeous Hattie is approximately 8 years old, and she is just the most wonderful
girlie! She is an Akita cross German Shepherd.
Brought in as a stray, she spent some time in a sanctuary, living with lots
of other dogs, cats, chickens, geese, sheep and horses. She would step out
of the way to let the chickens pass, and allow the cats to groom her ears!
She was so well behaved at the sanctuary; she ended up moving into the sanctuary
owner’s house, whilst we found her foster home.
She walks well on the lead, is housetrained, and travels fine in the car.
She’s great with people, children, other animals and is the most affectionate,
loving and loyal girl. If you are looking for a ‘problem free’
dog, Hattie is your girl! She would be ideal for an older person / couple
or a laid back family.
Here’s what Hattie’s lovely foster mummy has to say about her…..
Hattie is a beautiful dog with a lot of love to give; I can't think why
someone would not want her! Since I have been fostering Hattie she has been
no trouble what so ever, she got along with my dogs and my cat straight
away, no 'accidents', no bad behavior at all. At the moment I put her in
a cage when I go out but I think she'd be fine if you left her out. She
is excellent to walk and sits before crossing the road; also she stands
for ages while you brush her with no problem, she loves the attention!!
All in all she is a perfect dog and whoever adopts her will be very pleased
:-)
All Hattie wants is a nice home for Christmas, and a loving home in which
she can spend the rest of her life. Can you help? Will you give Hattie as
much love as she will give you?
Hattie has been great with my 2 year old daughter, but as with all strays,
our policy on re homing requires children are aged 8+

Kola - REHOMED!
Kola is an 11 month old long haired German shepherd. She is the most loving
and loyal dog, and is impeccably behaved.
You would be forgiven for thinking Kola is older than she is; she is calm,
well mannered and fantastic to have in the house. She is house trained,
not destructive, and good with dogs. She loves the 2 year old little girl
she is currently living with, and would be fine to live with children of
all ages.
Her recall off lead is fantastic, though she chooses to stick close by your
side, even when off lead.
Kola came into rescue through no fault of her own, it’s purely circumstance
that sees her needing a new home.
Kola is cuddly and loving and desperate to please. She really is the most
fantastic girlie, and will make some lucky family the most idyllic, loving
and loyal companion.
They truly do not come much better than Kola….
We would love to see Kola go to a home with another dog for companionship,
as she is so used to living with other dogs, and bonds quickly to her companions.
However we would consider her being re-homed as an only dog, but only if
there is someone at home for the majority of the day.

Arabella is approximately one years old. She is a German Shepherd cross
Husky. She is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and deflead and wormed.
She is small to medium in size, and is very very loving. She loves her cuddles
and fusses, and also likes to play. Shes a young, energetic girl and will
make a loving and loyal companion. Shes great with other dogs and cats.

Aero is a 12 week old staffordshire bull terrier pup, who was abandoned.
Aero is currently living with other dogs and a 2 year old child. He has
started his vaccinations, been wormed, deflead, microchipped and will need
to be neutered by his new family when he is 6 months old. This will form
part of the adoption agreement.
Aero is a typical happy playful pup, and will need ongoing training and
we are looking for a family who will keep him well socialised. He loves
playing with other dogs and would be fine to live with a female dog, and
is young enough to be introduced to cats.
He is a beautiful light brindle colour and has perfected 'puppy dog eyes'!!!

Duke is a 7 year old beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier,
who is looking for a home through no fault of his own.

He is great with other dogs out and about, but would prefer to be the only
dog indoors – he likes a quiet life! He cannot live with cats, but
has grown up with children, and adores them!
He is not destructive indoors, and is fine to be left for a few hours each
day. He is good travelling in the car also.
He is good off lead, and knows commands such as ‘Sit, leave and go
and lay down’ He also ‘speaks’ on command!
Duke has the most beautiful temperament, and will be your best friend! He
likes to play and chase his tail, and then will curl up for a nice long
snooze.

SADIE - REHOMED
Please meet Sadie. She is a 3 year old Shitzu cross Jack Russell. She is
a very sweet and affectionate and loves people. She is currently in a foster
home with a dalmation, Rottweiler, German shepherd and a Yorkshire terrier.
She is housetrained and well trained, and came into rescue after her owner
was unable to look after her.
She’s a real lap dog, and would be an ideal companion for an older
person / couple. Although she is living with other dogs, we think she would
really prefer a home on her own, where she doesn’t have to share cuddles!
Sadie has started her vaccinations, and been wormed and defead. She is also
micro chipped and will be spayed before moving into her new home.
Sadie is a little shy around new people at first, but overcomes this quickly
and then becomes your best friend! We would like a home for Sadie with children
/ visiting children aged 12 and over.
She has not been destructive when left.

MERLIN - REHOMED
Merlin is a 3 year old Sheltie cross Corgi. He is neutered, vaccinated
and microchipped.
Merlin has a fantastic temperament, and has lived with cats, although not
for the past year. He is good with other dogs, and had a good recall off
lead. His owner has had to move to accomodation without a garden, so he
now needs to find a new home.
He is house trained, and not destructive.
Merlin would be fine to live with children over 6 years.
